Injection Molding
VG Plasticas main capabilities are custom injection molding, commodity resins and mold making. The plastic injection molding process produces large numbers of parts of high quality with great accuracy for professional use.
Plastic materials in the form of granules is melted and injected under pressure to fill a mold. Once the plastic molding has cooled sufficiently to harden the melted plastic, the mold opens releasing the plastic parts. The mold re closes to restart the whole injection molding process.
We Our facility is easily accessible from Montreal’s two international airport and is a 20 000 sq ft. space in the expanding Laval Industrial Park. We also have an additional 15 000 sq ft warehouse space that we added several years back for storage and product assembly and also offering an additional 32 000 sq. ft. of exterior storage space.
This allows us to continue the development of the operation which has been taking place since the company’s establishment in 1987, bringing it closer to its stated objective of being the pre-eminent precision plastic molding operation in the region.
VP Plastica operates on a 24hr/day, 7 days/week basis with 12 modern injection molding machines ranging from 66 to 500 tons, We currently offer mold making, injection molding, short run molding, and assembly as well as hot stamping for post mold decoration.
